Netbook Nametags :)

Love it when I get custom order requests that make so much sense!!!

Twin Girls + Matching Netbooks = the necessity of Netbook "Nametags":

Now...what's next?  My tablet?  My phone?
What's the strangest thing you've put a nametag on?

Revisiting the Not So Dull & Immaculate

A while back, my OB-Gyn had seen one of my "Dull Women Have Immaculate Homes" signs, and after an initial, little chuckle, he said, "I'd love for my wife to have one of these...she'd get such a kick out of it!"

Of course, I was more than happy to do this favor for the WONDERFUL man that helped bring my two, precious kiddos into this world.

Anyway, he gave me free reign and said to just do whatever colors I think would look good.

Here's what I came up with:

A little "joy" for Miss J's teachers

Jillian's teacher is a big fan of zebra patterned things.  And bright green.
So I decided to mix those things together in a fun, felt ornament!

And a little love for the librarian's tree, too!

I think there are definitely more felt projects in my future!
Jillian wants a bird ornament, so that may be net on the to-do list.  ;)

A "Motor Man" Wreath

My son LOVES playing with toy motorcycles.  He loves pretending that Buzz Lightyear is a "motor man" and gets to his next location with the help of a loud, "vrrrroooming" motorcycle.

In this spirit, I have named the following custom order (for Deanna at The Sugared Cookie)
"Motor Man" Wreath.  It sure doesn't sound like something that would have some weathered tulle and cute, polka dot fabric.  But no worries - black burlap, silver studs, and the famous Harley Davidson logo balance out the "cute" and give this creation a little more of an edgy look!

Who would've thought that Harley Davidson fabric would've been near impossible to find?!  I ended up buying men's pajama shorts with a nice pattern, and cutting those into pieces!

With most of my wreaths, I use rhinestone centers...for this wreath, I felt like silver, square studs looked more appropriate.  ;)
